My Story

I champion leadership developmentgirls education, and global investing.

A perpetual student, avid traveler, personal finance maven and investment industry leader, my passion is connecting people and ideas across the U.S. and developing world. With over two decades of corporate training in finance, leadership development, sales, and public speaking, I apply my expertise as a strategy consultant to impact investing firms and non-profits, an executive coach to mid-career professionals, and as an investor, writer, speaker, and mentor.

I spent 22 successful years in investment management, leading strategic U.S. business building initiatives at a start-up and notable firms like JP Morgan and Matthews Asia. Combining my analytical mindset, education-based communications style and a natural ease for connecting people and ideas, I’ve led teams which have raised billions of dollars in assets in innovative investment strategies from institutional clients and investment advisors.

What really drives me? Having traveled to personally explore 60 countries with a particular emphasis on developing economies in Asia and Africa, I am inspired by individuals with ideas, passion, grit and goals. Travel opened my eyes to the critical role of women globally. I believe that girls education and empowerment is the best global investment opportunity of our lifetime.

I am captivated by creative ideas and organizations. I am inspired by individuals and teams who wish to define and live their WHY towards lifetime impact. It’s why I love my work as an executive coach, advisor and consultant.

Through my writing, I share the stories of people that see things differently and my personal learnings. Through global leadership trips, I offer experiences to gain insights to a country beyond standard tourist experiences as part of a community.
